After the successful Bobsleigh and skeleton World championships in February 2020, the BMW IBSF Bobsleigh and skeleton World championships will again be held on the SachsenEnergie-Eiskanal Altenberg in 2021. Originally, this should take place on the track in Lake Placid (USA). The relocation is necessary due to the global corona pandemic.
